Overview
Mechanism of action
Functions as a ligand for G-protein coupled receptor 54 (GPR54) in the hypothalamus. Its binding initiates a Phospholipase C signaling pathway that triggers the release of GnRH, which in turn stimulates gonadotropin secretion.
Reported benefits
- ▸Stimulates the natural release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and luteinizing hormone (LH).
- ▸Supports healthy testosterone levels in men.
- ▸May help regulate menstrual cycles and ovulation in women.
- ▸Assists in addressing pubertal delays and reproductive disorders.
- ▸Potentially improves fertility by optimizing the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis.
Reported side effects
- ·Injection site pain or irritation
- ·Hormonal overproduction from excessive dosage
- ·Potential for hypersecretion of gonadotropic hormones
